Wrong Practices
Disposing of electronic waste with wrong methods creates serious negative effects on the environment and human health. These applications: Mixing with household garbage: Causes them to be deprived of recycling. Irregular storage: Pollutes soil and water resources with toxic substances. Incineration processes: Causes air pollution and release of toxic gases. Uncontrolled shredding: Causes heavy metals such as mercury and lead to spread into the environment.
4
What Should Be
Methods that should be applied to manage electronic waste without harming the environment: Delivery to Recycling Facilities: Electronic waste should be delivered to licensed facilities for recycling. Waste Separation: E-waste should be separated into plastic, metal and other components and recycled. Safe Disposal: Devices containing toxic substances should be rendered harmless with appropriate methods. Reuse: Some devices or parts can be repaired and made reusable. From You
