Zero Waste
Zero Waste System Setup
Zero Waste System is a 7-step guide that enables companies, institutions or organizations to participate in zero waste processes.
Determining Focus Areas
Individuals who will be responsible for the establishment, effective implementation, monitoring, information sharing and reporting processes of the zero waste system within the institution are determined. These individuals will assume the leadership of the zero waste management team.
Current Situation Analysis
Before implementing the system, the current situation regarding waste management is evaluated in detail. This analysis provides a more efficient process management in the following stages.
Planning Process
According to the analysis results, a roadmap and time plan specific to the institution is prepared.
Determination and Procurement of Needs
All areas where the system will be implemented (such as offices, dining halls, health units) are taken into consideration and the necessary materials and equipment are determined. These needs are supplied before implementation.
Training and Awareness Studies
After the necessary equipment is provided, practical training and awareness-raising studies are carried out for the target groups. This process aims to increase the level of awareness before the application.
Implementation Phase
The supplied equipment is placed in areas that employees can easily access. Information posters and promotional materials compatible with the equipment are hung in visible places. The system is implemented regularly by complying with the color codes.
Monitoring and Reporting
The effectiveness of the application is reviewed regularly by the designated team. Deficiencies, malfunctions or areas requiring development are identified and necessary corrective measures are taken.
