"The 'Zero Waste Project' Launched Under the Leadership of Emine Erdoğan".

Emine Erdoğan, the wife of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, attended the promotional ceremony for the "Zero Waste Project," which is being implemented under her patronage. The Zero Waste Project aims to control waste and leave a clean and developed Turkey, along with a livable world, for future generations within the framework of sustainable development principles.

The meeting where Emine Erdoğan spoke was attended by members of parliament, heads of public institutions and organizations, university rectors, academics, mayors, representatives from civil society, media personnel, and business representatives.

The Zero Waste Project, carried out within the framework of sustainable development principles, aims to control waste and leave a clean and developed Turkey, along with a livable world, for future generations. Initially, the project will be implemented in public institutions, followed by an action plan that will encompass all of Turkey.

As of 2018, the Zero Waste Project aims to be gradually implemented in public institutions, airports, shopping centers, residential complexes, universities, hospitals, and large businesses.
