Emine Erdoğan, the wife of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, reviewed the works of the Zero Waste Project under her patronage on-site at the Presidential Complex.

As part of the zero waste implementation studies established within the Presidential Complex, Emine Erdoğan visited the northern administrative building and received information from officials. She also inaugurated the zero waste and recycling exhibition prepared by children attending the Presidential Kindergarten and Day Care Center.

Emine Erdoğan emphasized the importance of involving children in the project, based on the fact that the culture of waste management should be instilled from a young age. During the visit, the children presented clothing made from reusable materials and performed a show accompanied by music.

ZERO WASTE PROJECT

The project, conducted by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change, aims to control waste and leave a clean and developed Turkey for future generations, primarily focusing on public buildings. Within this framework, the project has started to be implemented in the Presidential Complex and the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change buildings, with the goal of promoting a zero waste culture within institutions. The project is effectively implemented in the Presidential offices and cafeteria, with plans to expand it to all public institutions.
