Emine Erdoğan, the wife of President Erdoğan, visited Lake Salda today at the invitation of the Minister of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change, Murat Kurum. Also present in the same helicopter was Hakan Çelik, the Ankara Representative of Posta Gazetesi. Minister Kurum and Emine Erdoğan discussed the plans for Lake Salda during their visit.

During the visit, which included Posta Gazetesi's Ankara Representative Hakan Çelik from CNN TÜRK, Minister Kurum provided Emine Erdoğan with detailed information about the protection measures to be taken around Lake Salda and the structures to be built around the lake without harming its natural habitat.

Kurum also made significant statements regarding the improvements to the current condition of Lake Salda.

Emine Erdoğan, after receiving information about the natural habitat of Lake Salda, the environmental pollution occurring there, and the measures to be taken to prevent this pollution, stated that she would closely monitor the efforts of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change to preserve the natural structure and unique beauty of Lake Salda. She emphasized the importance of preventing construction in the area, avoiding concrete development, and ensuring that visitors do not create pollution. She expressed her commitment to closely following these efforts, particularly in terms of public awareness.
