Emine Erdoğan, accompanying her husband, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, on his visit to the United Arab Emirates, participated in the "Sustainable Development Goals 2045: Shaping the Future of Our World" program held in Dubai and delivered a speech.

In her speech at the "Sustainable Development Goals 2045: Shaping the Future of Our World" forum held in Dubai, Emine Erdoğan expressed her gratitude for being part of the event and emphasized the importance of collective action to address global challenges. She highlighted that the current trajectory is leading humanity and all living beings towards destruction, stressing the need for conscious decisions guided by moral and ethical considerations.

Erdoğan called for hope in those who take brave and thoughtful actions, asserting that despair only benefits those who seek to perpetuate the flawed consumption system. She praised environmental volunteers who are committed to sustainability, such as those who reject single-use plastics and compost waste, providing examples of individuals who make a difference in the fight against environmental degradation.

Emine Erdoğan also shared her pride in the global reach of the "Zero Waste" movement, which she initiated in Turkey and has since gained international recognition. She noted the global impact of the movement and its role in advocating for a more sustainable lifestyle aligned with human nature and environmental consciousness.

Furthermore, she discussed the importance of collective global action, mentioning that no one country or individual can address the challenges of pollution, climate change, and global warming alone. Erdoğan emphasized that unity is key to overcoming these problems and ensuring a better future for all.

In closing, she stressed the need for peace, cooperation, and sustainable development, pointing out that the ultimate legacy we can leave for future generations is not just roadmaps for solutions, but a world built on lasting peace and sustainability. She thanked the UAE for hosting the event and expressed her hope for a world where children’s laughter fills the skies, not their cries.
